How it all began!

In April 2004 the Stanbrook Abbey community visited Crief Farm for the first time.

Some of the sisters with Alan and Lorraine Dale, the previous owners. The Dales are now good friends of the community. Anne and Tony O'Brien, who worked with us for many years at our monastery in Worcester, also came on the first visit. They now run Crief Lodges (see the page on Crief Lodges).
